PayAdvantageTM Patient Payment Management

 

PayAdvantage> is a real time, web-based analytical and workflow application that provides the management of up-front patient payment responsibility. PayAdvantage calculates the patient out-of-pocket expenses after taking into account the copayment, insurance deductible, and coinsurance, based on the medical services. PayAdvantage includes a statistical estimation engine that calculates the total payments for medical services, including the patient's insurance payment amount and the patient payment portion.

PayAdvantage framework delivers processing capabilities to extract out of the eligibility 271 response the insurance deductible, coinsurance and co-pay used in the calculation of patient-specific payment responsibility. PayAdvantage Actionable Intelligence identifies the medical services that have a patient responsibility, automatically calculates the patient payment responsibility and routes alerts to the appropriate staff to collect the payment. It produces customized patient responsibility letters for patient-friendly communication of estimates. In addition, it provides performance reporting by department and by user to track potential to collect vs. actual amount collected.
